Metalheads can rejoice in the genre’s recent renaissance, but Here Comes Forever is more beneficiary than driver of that trend. The album is eminently listenable, especially for a band that variously describes its sound as “drone” and “noise,” but somehow that comes across as less complimentary than it should be.
