Gift Of Gab - “Escape 2 Mars” - Borrow It

text: Chris Barth

Facile flows and labyrinthine lyrics mask basic (and banal) beats. Gift of Gab explores his quirks, dusting around the corners of his brain left untouched by his Blackalicious discography. Sometimes his digging unearths gems like “Dreamin” and the cheeky “El Gifto Magnifico.” Too often, though, he comes up with cobwebs.

nice pics Chris. Don’t you love it when the artist brings some cool light. It’s a bunch of low hanging fruit after that.

Check out a sick interview back\slash Magazine did with LMFAO about how they blew up in a down economy, the struggles of entrepreneurship, and getting high.
