On their song “Love Long Distance,” The Gossip revels in the late disco/early house fetishism that Kathy Diamond and Hercules and Love Affair used to great effect--this song is unreasonably good. Unfortunately, the rest of their angry disco won’t make friends in the club--useless aggression has its consequences.
