Simple, repetitive guitar riffs and sleepy lyrics make Vetiver’s album a nice addition to the folk music scene but not too much of a stand out. We are left with what can only be described as beautiful background music and a couple poppy tunes suitable for a sunny day drive.
Sounds Like: Devendra Banhart | Wilco | Grizzly Bear
If someone’s going to borrow it, someone has to buy it.
Kelli Shaefer’s songs get stuck in my head non-stop. Every other day I find myself waking up with one in there. And that’s a good thing, she’s a talent!

nice pics Chris. Don’t you love it when the artist brings some cool light. It’s a bunch of low hanging fruit after that.

Check out a sick interview back\slash Magazine did with LMFAO about how they blew up in a down economy, the struggles of entrepreneurship, and getting high.

I’ve got to disagree with you. Tight Knit is more than just background music. I spin this record all the time and it never gets all old—one of my favorites of the year by far. “More Of This,” “Everyday,” “Rolling Sea” ...Even better in concert. Wrote about it here: http://bit.ly/1aWgmG
