Kid Cudi’s been blowing up everywhere about his new album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, which is due for release November 9. I don’t think a day has passed this week where I haven’t seen something about Cudi in an interview and performing live or just being totally awesome.

P.S. I was at a 21+ venue and everyone there was over the age of 21 right, and everyone I mean EVERYONE in the room was talking really loud and ignoring poor Benoit Pioulard who was pouring his heart and soul out on stage.

I agree with Kamoki. I think Kanye had to much of an influence on Cudi. He is practically the spawn of Mr. West.
totally disagree with both of you. Cudi’s choruses, song themes, beats and delivery are completely different than Kanye’s. Most of his stuff is also less accessible at first listen. It’s creeper stuff. Kanye is going for stadiums and Cudi is going for people’s headphones.

Hmm, I have mixed feelings about the album. Mostly nice tracks, but he’s changed a bit since his last album.
people were told to like kid cudi, he’s capable of regular rap but obviously doesn’t feel the need to rehash the same themes in his own album. this is his own, personal artistic exploration made into a profit vehicle. take it or leave it.
I personally like the new album thus far. “spawn of mr west” is the farthest from the truth. he’s become extremely popular through kanye now but he still releases his own brand of hip hop. it’s personal, different, and enjoyable.
you guys need to shut the fuck up, because nobody gives a suck about your stupid ass opinions. Insteead of lurking kid cudi articles and critisizing, get on with your fucking lives. Nobady gives a fuck about what you think.
