Crammed with dozens of A-listers starring or as cameos, Beastie Boys’ “Fight For Your Right Revisted” transports you to a time, 25 years ago to be precise, when low-budget music videos were king and makes that aesthetic into a dynasty for others to follow. Featuring Elijah Wood and Will Ferrell as Ad-Rock, Danny McBride and John C. Reilly as MCA, and Seth Rogen and Jack Black as Mike D, these 21 minutes of awesome pack in as many musical numbers, breakdancing, window smashing and partying as possible.
It debuted at midnight last night, but you can also watch it in three parts below:
Also, in case you want the Reader’s Digest version, they took some of the best parts of the short film and made it into the music video for their first single off Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2, “Make Some Noise.” Own the track when the album drops May 3.
