Want a couple of free tickets to Friday night’s Metric show at the House of Blues? Of course you do.
“How do I get them?” you likely ask. Simple:
1) Email two friends who are not yet melophobe readers, linking them to melophobe.com (or your favorite page within melophobe), and saying something enthusiastic about us. It can be enthusiastically positive. It can be enthusiastically negative, but then you have to live with the guilt of talking shit while asking for something for free.
2) Address a new email to , collect the emails to your friends, copy and paste them into the email to me (so we can see that you’ve done the qualifying task).
3) Make the subject line “METRIC GIVEAWAY”
4) Ask us for the tickets. Ask us super nicely, and your names might float towards the top of the pile.
We’ll do the drawing Friday at Noon.

I’d like to clarify that for this show they cut off the back half of Neumo’s floor with a curtain and had the upstairs bar closed. It made Neumo’s obviously seem much smaller than it is. Unfortunately, now having seen Neumo’s fully open at another show I can say that this show was very empty. Still White Denim and Brazos rocked.
