The other day I went off on why the Cymbals Eat Guitars album, Why There Are Mountains and more specifically, “And The Hazy Sea” were essential 2009 listening. I stand tall behind my statements and I’m hoping some people out there took them to heart and gave the group a shot, if they hadn’t already. Which leads me to the next step in the process: go out and see them live. And starting in March you’ll have plenty of chances to do that, as they are going out on a 27 show trek backed by Bear In Heaven. Just go. I saw them at MFNW earlier this year, can vouch for their on-stage prowess and I’m sure they’ve only gotten better with more practice. Diabolical dynamics, here we come.

no prob. The whole album is excellent, combining some of the harder sonics of Los Angeles with the meat of his debut and obviously difficult to summarize in only 50 words… 
I’d say it’s on par with the debut, but better than Los Angeles.

i saw them open for the Cave Singers, not very original, the crowd was not into it either, frankly i think they suck

Just saw these guys live at Ithaca College! An AWE inspiring performance.. Such power from there presense. Hope they enjoy there tour in Spain! See you guys in Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s!
