This year we saw the return of Slim Shady with Relapse and though it was a mixed bag/slightly disappointing album, it was still nice to have him back. As the months have gone on, it looks like Em is getting back to his supercharged rhymesmith self and hopefully Relapse 2 will be the game changer his fans so desperately desire. But until then, we have his words on his process, battling back from addiction and his life now. Check out Complex’s interview with him here and play a little bit more catch up. Interesting read.

I’d like to clarify that for this show they cut off the back half of Neumo’s floor with a curtain and had the upstairs bar closed. It made Neumo’s obviously seem much smaller than it is. Unfortunately, now having seen Neumo’s fully open at another show I can say that this show was very empty. Still White Denim and Brazos rocked.
