Is there such a thing as Indie R&B? There is if you’ve listened to the Dirty Projectors single “Stillness Is The Move” off the forthcoming Bitte Orca LP, due out 6/9. Domino Records released the single for free earlier this month. It’s a very polarizing track: you’ll either love it or hate it. Take a listen for yourself. no prob. The whole album is excellent, combining some of the harder sonics of Los Angeles with the meat of his debut and obviously difficult to summarize in only 50 words… 
I’d say it’s on par with the debut, but better than Los Angeles.

love the background beats, but the vocals rub me the wrong way…
“Indie R&B;” about hits this on the head. I think this song is pretty incredible - the background rif is so aggressive, but the vocals are a perfect match.
