There are two organizations that I love most for their participation in music: NPR and the BBC. Both work to archive fantastic performances and present first listens of albums so we get exclusive content at every chance they get. Last weekend’s opportunity for the BBC to show us readers some love was at Rockness, which is a Scottish music festival held on the banks of the Loch Ness’ home. Not only did they preserve sets from Doves, Annie Mac and We Are Scientists, they also gave us the chance to hear some fresh Frightened Rabbit as part of a live acoustic set. Hear “Scottish Wind” above, watch it being performed below and grab the track for keeps at the bottom.
