Grab Hoodie Allen’s New Free Mixtape “Leap Year”

text: Danielle Fowler

Hoodie Allen’s back, and he must have grown an extra lung with how long his streams of rhyme are running. Sticking to his usual modus operandi of referring musically and lyrically to pop culture and independent music, Hoodie brings the beat with his latest mixtape, Leap Year. It shows a lot of love and growth from his previous work on Pep Rally and it’s no wonder. Imagine quitting your job at Google and making music your life, no matter what. You’d have to bring it, and Hoodie did.

Stream the entire mixtape and download it over at Hoodie’s website, plus get a load of his first single “The Chase Is On” with the stream above and the music video below his sprawling tour dates.

“Mindkilla” is awesome. I’ve got this music video last week and really impressed through watching every performance particularly “Glass Jar”. Thanks dude. :)
