A few days ago, I posted an old track by Kid Cudi called “Highs N Lows,” which originated from around the time when he was just starting out.Turns out it was from the demo tape he was shopping around, when he was out there hoping to get signed. It was then known as “I’ll Be.” That’s a fun tid bit in itself, but here’s something better. I found the demo tape and now you can check out what those label execs were looking at when they making their decisions about the man we call Cudi. Download it HERE
The Demo Tape Mixtape Tracklist:
1. Do It Alone
2. Interlude
3. Interlude II
4. Follow Me
5. I Hear Them Calling
6. Never Come Down
7. That Girl
8. Who I Am (Interlude III)
9. Cuts You To Pieces (Interlude IV)
10. Pion
11. Come Around
12. I Be

Great post! Really digging the new record a lot. The Rainwater LP has some gorgeous moments - definitely recommend checking it out. There are 3 of the new songs up on the myspace page: myspace.com/citizencope

love that melophobe has more “couples” reviewers, and more “Ian/Ion/Ian/Iain” than the average site…
