J. Tillman, Fleet Foxes’ drummer and a bona fide solo artist in his own right, is the creator of this next new piece. It’s called Though I Have Wronged You, off the album Year In The Kingdom (out September 22nd). What you will find here is a man explaining himself with his guitar and soothing set of strings, which adds this aching sense of beauty to a song already full of backwoods ambiance. It has this soft elegance to it and a mood that begs for dimmed lights and quiet contemplation. Basically, it’s a good addition to your catalog. Check it out and let us know what you think.

“Mindkilla” is awesome. I’ve got this music video last week and really impressed through watching every performance particularly “Glass Jar”. Thanks dude. :)

This is a really lovely song - it’s contemplative without dragging, and not pretentious at all. I’d be interested to hear how he fares carrying an entire album.
That’s funny you chose the word ‘lovely’ because when I was writing it, my original ending was “It really is quite lovely.” I like it a lot and agree with what you have said. I’m sure a whole album would be great and apparently its out there because someone on another blog was talking about how often they’ve been spinning it lately.
