Jamie xx on BBC Radio 1 Plus Adele & Gil Scott-Heron Remixes

Adele - Rolling in the Deep (Jamie XX Remix) by dynmk

There’s been a lot of updates on the Jamie xx front today. Well, really only three, but that constitutes for a lot when you start seeing that name over and over in the news. For starters, Jamie did a remix a little while ago of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” which had a studio version released that you can hear via soundcloud above.

Next, Jamie’s album of Gil Scott-Heron remixes comes out February 22, and the latest single, “I’ll Take Care of U,” is up for sale and free stream. The transitions are just gorgeous, and I recommend you check out the track at the bottom of this post in the nifty little player.

Lastly, he contributed a mix, featuring the likes of Beach House, Jamie Woon, James Blake and Mount Kimbie, to Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show. You can download In the Mix here and see a complete tracklisting below.

In the Mix:
Timmy Thomas — Why Can’t We Live Together
Zomby — Tarantula
Jamie Woon — Night Air – Becoming Real Remix
Koreless — M.T.I.
James Blake — I Mind
Cassie — Must Be Love – Jacques Greene’s Marriage Proposal Mix
Mount Kimbie — Before I Move Off
Rui Da Silva — Touch Me – Chopped and Screwed
DJ Choko — Stealth Drums
Jamie xx — Far Nearer – The Knife Bootleg
Beach House — 10 Mile Stereo
Crazy Cousinz — Inflation – Chopped and Screwed
Tanya Stephens — Can’t Touch Me No More

“Mindkilla” is awesome. I’ve got this music video last week and really impressed through watching every performance particularly “Glass Jar”. Thanks dude. :)
