Out of necessity, Los Campesinos! are moving on without founder/frontwoman Alexs Campesinos after Alexs decided to go back to her studies. And so, their new singer will now be Kim Campesinos! and you can read about it in their post below.
“It is our utmost pleasure to officially announce on this beautiful Monday, the joining of Kim Campesinos! as our new vocalist and keyboard player (and a whole lot more). As I’m sure most of you are aware, Kim joins the band following Aleks’ departure to return to her studies. In Kim we have a more than worthy successor. We are friends from way, way back, and I hope you’ll make her feel very welcome.”
Hey Merseilles did a live web show at sonicbirds office gig on Friday that was pretty spectacular. Can anyone find a copy of that?

Kelli Shaefer’s songs get stuck in my head non-stop. Every other day I find myself waking up with one in there. And that’s a good thing, she’s a talent!

nice pics Chris. Don’t you love it when the artist brings some cool light. It’s a bunch of low hanging fruit after that.
