Monsters Of Folk perform as Kiss (video)

text: Colin McLaughlin

Ever wonder what Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, Jim James and M. Ward would look like covering Kiss in full Kiss make-up? Me either. It never even crossed my mind, but I sure as hell wanted to see it when I heard about it. Here’s Monsters of Folk performing “Detroit Rock City” in Louisville, Halloween night. Does anybody know if this was the only song they played as Kiss or were there more?

They also played “Rock n Roll All Night” and invited about 20 people in costumes on stage for one crazy ass finale.

Thanks for the heads up. It seems to me that if you are in the costumes, you have to perform more than one song.

They played other songs (the whole “encore") in the KISS costumes, but only two KISS songs.
