Present # 6: Sufjan Stevens soundboard - Live at the Crystal Ballroom 2006

text: Colin McLaughlin / photos: stinkingbadges2's photobucket

I’ve decided I have two more days of presents in me. The penultimate day’s gift is a soundboard from Sufjan Stevens’ Illinois tour, recorded live at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom and if you’ve been keeping up with the other presents, this one sounds magnificent, as well. It’s a fine tribute to a fine album and I hope it makes your day just a little brighter.

Download it HERE.

My man and I love Sufjan and his Christmas cds so much, we’ve decided to tell our little girl that Saint Sufjan brings presents on Christmas morn. I know; we’re huge dorks.

Anyway… thanks, Saint Colin! I’m really enjoying this.

Kelli Shaefer’s songs get stuck in my head non-stop. Every other day I find myself waking up with one in there. And that’s a good thing, she’s a talent!

nice pics Chris. Don’t you love it when the artist brings some cool light. It’s a bunch of low hanging fruit after that.

Check out a sick interview back\slash Magazine did with LMFAO about how they blew up in a down economy, the struggles of entrepreneurship, and getting high.
