Sick remix of The xx’s “Infinity”

text: Colin McLaughlin

On a CD full of good songs, I think “Infinity” is my new favorite track by The xx. And to honor this, I’ve decided I have to post this remix of “Infinity” by Flufftronix. It mixes dubstep, electro, and a vicious drum track to make what is probably the best xx remix I’ve heard so far. I especially like when the song explodes at 1:14, but no skipping ahead because it’s what comes before that makes it what it is. Enjoy and if you actually have heard a better xx remix, post a link in the comments section.

no prob. The whole album is excellent, combining some of the harder sonics of Los Angeles with the meat of his debut and obviously difficult to summarize in only 50 words… smile I’d say it’s on par with the debut, but better than Los Angeles.

By the way, I really liked the mp3 posted. Thanks.

WHO WROTE THIS...PUKE ! “WHO WROTE THIS...PUKE !  “Picture yourself coasting your bike past space funk palm trees, homeless harpists, vintage video arcades, electronic drum circles, and 60s psychedelic singers who’re waiting for the bus. Cosmogramma is kinda like that if someone suddenly tripped you just as you’re starting to enjoy the ride. But in a good way.””
