Springsteen Is Your Shepherd and He Knows What You Want

text: Colin McLaughlin

As if Bruce Springsteen couldn’t be more of a bad ass live, he is now playing 3 complete albums at Giants Stadium starting tomorrow night. This comes on the heels of playing Born To Run, in its entirety for a Chicago crowd, and if you were wondering what albums they’ll be playing, it’s Born To Run, Darkness On The Edge Of Town, and Born In The USA. I would kill to go to the Darkness show, I love that album and would even fly out to NJ if I could afford it. So, if you can’t get out there too, I’ll post recordings when they come out. As long as people want them. If you do, let me know in the comments section.

Sepember 30 - Born To Run
October 2 - Darkness on the Edge of Town
October 3 - Born In The USA
October 8 - Born To Run
October 9 - Born In The USA

All it takes is one. Let’s just hope someone gets in there and records these suckers. If they do, they are up.

of Town in sequence. Damn that is going to be amazing!

I was at the Darkness show tonight. Incredible. Sorry you couldn’t be there, but if you get your hands on any recordings, I’d love to hear them.

I’ve read the book ‘Dream Boogie’ the life and time of Sam Cooke’ If the movie is as good as the book, Sam Cooke will get the respect that he has been deserving of for many years.
