The Dutchess & The Duke make great albums (including this year’s Sunset/Sunrise) and as someone who just saw them for the first time recently, I can tell you they are a great live band as well. So in the spirit of you getting up and getting out to see them, I have tour dates, a lot of tour dates. And for those that don’t know them, I have a song called “Hands.” Check it out and see what you are missing.

I’d like to clarify that for this show they cut off the back half of Neumo’s floor with a curtain and had the upstairs bar closed. It made Neumo’s obviously seem much smaller than it is. Unfortunately, now having seen Neumo’s fully open at another show I can say that this show was very empty. Still White Denim and Brazos rocked.

I agree, it’s very good. Way to deflate their balloon.

Love the photos. And that “Walkabout” song is the drugs.

Thanks to Jesse the Duke for ruining a perfectly wonderful acoustic performance by singer/songwriter Grant Lee Phillips. I overheard a number of people complaining about his boorish behavior. He talked quite loudly almost non-stop DURING EVERY SINGLE SONG! Show some respect!
I predict that their 15 minutes of fame is about to expire. The Duke is an obnoxious asshole with a bad drinking problem and an even worse personality. That wouldn’t be so bad in itself except for the fact that he likes to drive when he’s wasted. He’s so selfish that he won’t stop until he kills somebody. Last night he could hardly walk or talk but he had no problem jumping into his white pick-up truck, revving the engine like a lunatic, and racing off down the street. What a loser…
