Wale: Live In D.C. (video)

text: Colin McLaughlin

If you follow hip hop then you know about my man, Wale.  He’s a true talent and someone who will most likely have a great career (not just a hit song or album).  Below you will find a few things. 1) Two videos from a hometown show in Washington D.C.  2) A link to his The Mixtape About Nothing mixtape, which should give anyone who doesn’t know Wale, a great perspective on who he is.  Album coming out called Attention Deficit, due September 22nd.

Setlist:

Video 1:
Dig Dug
Chillin’
Nike Boots

Video 2:
Pretty Girls
One Thing About A Playa
Breakdown
Shake Ya Plaits

I wasn’t particularly taken with A Mixtape About Nothing. Not sure why. These videos are hot though - I’ll have to give the Mixtape another listen.

“Mindkilla” is awesome. I’ve got this music video last week and really impressed through watching every performance particularly “Glass Jar”. Thanks dude. :)
