With Tribes hitting up Boston (12/7 @ Great Scott) and New York (12/8 @ Mercury Lounge) with We Barbarians”>We Barbarians over the next few days, we thought it was appropriate to clear our shelves and give away some stuff we’ve been hoarding. New Year’s resolutions and all, ya know?
For those not in the know:
Tribes is a well needed return to straight up rock & roll; melodic guitar riffs, DIY mentality and loud anthemic tunes. No synths or programing, just an ambitious young band from the UK with great songs and a love for the rock ‘n’ roll.
This is behavior we like to encourage.
‘We Were Children EP’ is out now as a precursor to their full length entitled Baby (produced by Mike Crossey - Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Foals) coming January 2012 via Universal Republic.
Winner will be draw on Friday 12/9 so you can have something to brag about over the weekend.

P.S. I was at a 21+ venue and everyone there was over the age of 21 right, and everyone I mean EVERYONE in the room was talking really loud and ignoring poor Benoit Pioulard who was pouring his heart and soul out on stage.
