There’s no doubt M.I.A. is influenced by the world around her, whether it be the world of politics or world of the internet, she’s getting it covered. In a cut track that was supposed to be part of /\/\ /\ Y /\, Maya pays homage to a few rappers foreign and native that she deemed worthy of imitation. “Zig Zag” has some of the pop that was lacking in her last album, as well as some of the lightheartedness that got Arular out there. Bounce your cheeks to it above and snag for grabs below.
